Dear Internets & Hanna,
Good old wednesday, it should be called sucks day. I spent the whole beautiful day sitting in a boxed up room for essentially what was a 9 hour meeting. I did however get to emerge for a quick incredibly delicious lunch and a smorgasboard of dessert. You would have been sooo jealous! On to fun things. Wedding stuff! I just love the wedding topper! Is it strange for me to employ positive thinking and buy one?
Reading... Captain Corelli's mandolin. It's surprisingly satirical, smart, a little M15+ but rather funny
Listening...Ben folds, FBI radio were selling his CD for $5 at re-threads in sydney. Bargain! Nerd + music = uber yay
Cooking.... Risonni & vegetables in an olive oil, lemon and palmerson sauce + pan seared fish with white wine sauce
Wanting... a weekend where sleeping in is cumpulsory!
Making...I thought it might be cute to make a clay money box version of J's car that looked all bunged up and get him to smash it open to get his car detailing money...he isn't too keen on getting his car detailed any more. Oh calamity!
Loving...Wicked, the muscial & capitol theatre. The beauty of the theatre (rather poorly represented by the best photos of it above) almost outshone the music itself. Wicked was so funny and the ending didn't make me cry which is good since I was with 9 firends. Why did it take sooooo long to reach our neck of the woods? Oh well, it's here now and it was most excellent!

Dear Internets,
I woke up this morning to a glow of red streaming in through the windows. This usually meant someone had deliberately lit a bush fire while I was sleeping. Radio's were blaring works like "apocalypse" and "hell". Why doesn't everyone just calm themselves right down. It is not the end of the world. It is simple a dust storm. Granted it's the worst we've ever seen but the heavens did not break open so I think we're pretty safe.
Since my morning was so filled with talks of THE end lets fill my night with beginnings. Nothing says beginning more that easter, babies and weddings. Since it's no where near easter and there is no bun in the over, weddings it is! My lovely friend Hanna has been mentioning how tired she is of seeing the same old thing in bridal magazines. I just think i'm far more enthusiastic about her engagement party than she is. Time for a regular segment. Wedding wednesdays; for a limited time only you get to frolic through the lovely photos I frolic through on a weekly basis. I feel like i'm making a muriel's wedding-esque scrap book. Please feel free to stop me before it get's tragic.

Dear Internets,
I hate the rain when I'm working or preparing for a secret picnic i'm just about to unveil. I love the rain when in bed or reading and on sundays while I lazily watch a movie. I suppose I should just get my gumboots on and deal with it, huh?
[I'll fight you rain!]
If you happend to be in Canberra, Floriade is on. I like it for the first hour but that was enough for me, partly because I don't have an extensive interest in gardening and also because the last time I went, my mum trapped J and I in the flower arrangement tent and cooed about wedding boquets and centre pieces. I like filling my house with flowers and their scents and thats as far as it goes. Scored some lovely photos though.
[little paper lanterns for the night show I presume]
[they smelt jasmine-ey]
Posts soon to come
For Hanna (who recently became engaged), I will be posting all kinds of wedding and engagement party related photos because she is at present too lazy to research and thanks to you wonderful Internets, I already get a daily dose of that stuff.
Also, in the last post do you remember how I mentioned re-threads? Well I ended up going and it was all kinds of fantastic. They had a wonderful growers market which made us burst at the seams. We tried a little of almost everything. From organic juice, suffocatingly indulgent brownies, wonderfully decorated cupcakes and possibly the most delicious pink lady apples ever. The clothing swap event was also phenominal. My sister and I scored an overcoat, 2 dresses and a top. Sarah-teaa (lil sis) already has a gorgeous dress I keep stealing. Good thing we're the same size is all I can say. Pics up soon
I woke up with the worst headache this morning. I think I'll boringly spend the rest of my day doing paperwork. The good news is, it's friday! Time to chillax and shop! Ok so weekends aren't noted for it's shopping potential but my clothes are so horribly old. It's tragic really.
Back to happy thoughts. I really want these wittner shoes. They have a very baby doll look about them. The gloss and bows may just be too much to resist. Now the only question is BLACKorPINK?
Also if you are hanging about in sydney, you may want to give re-threads a go. I. It is billed at the ultimate shopping experience for the style-savvy, and the sustanability conscious. For guys, girls and children of all shapes, sizes and styles. Including an awesome range of vintage stalls and live music all day. Sounds intriguing to me.

Dear Internets,
Almost as alusive as the perfect outfit itself. I have been trying to pin down this skill for a long time but it seems to evade me constantly. A complete shame since I have loved so many of my fashion finds of late. The outfit post photo. How do blogger's manage to pull it off so well? After my first attempt, I've learnt that I must learn to control my face in photos, or at the very least, stop watching america's next top model where I get these critiquey ideas.
So what brought this self involved photo taking mission on? I bought the cutest miss shop skirt the other day. Best part of it was the price tag, $10.00, only %12.5 of it's original price, and in my size. Is that lucky or what? My sister and I also bought shoes from target for a measly $20. They are oh so cute! Mine has tassles which my older male work colleague has threatened to steal on several occasiona [strange I know]. As you can tell, I love bargain shopping and befriending crazies. Case in point, my sister pictured below
glad she's finally found the time to upload

Dear Internets,
Probably not for those who offend easily, but if you know someone who like those steam rolled pennies, qirky jewelry, bows and cardigans, you may want to give LAMA a go. The titles "ego award ring" and "ego award pin" are a bit of a give away as to what you can expect
[Lucky - I absolutely love this, make your own luck!]
[I don't have a poultry obsession or anything but this brooch intrigues me]
The best thing is, the awesome-ness doesn't stop at wearables. Here are a few other things I quite liked:
[cherry tea cup] - [teapot with a cold] - [knitted cactus]
Hope you like the Lama's offerings :)
Lesson I learnt today: No matter how delicious the cheesecake, I cannot spontaneously generate a dessert stomach. Still waiting for the technology on that one.

Dear Internets,
"In a land far far away, there is a place with glitter capped mountains, fields of silk and flowers where unicorns roam, a place that you have never even dreamed of. Magnificent things happen in this mysterious dynasty…"
Do you like make believe? I love it all manner of speaking but when it manifests itself in a brand, it is super win! It was founded by a pair of art lovers living in Tokyo. This necklace is just one example of their style. It's bright, bold. crazy and would have to be worn with the basic of basics, perhaps the reason this poor beautiful lady stripped to her underwear. A little extreme maybe, much like the prices (but then I'm a bit povvo)? I would have settled for a plain tank top and jeans [ANTM judging panel style].
Also, the lovely Hanna nominated me for an award at work. What should I blow my reward AU$200.00 on? I was thinking of a nice travel bag because the one I have at the moment is a football bag, and I travel a fair bit for work. Bear in mind, it only equates to US $1.50 (perhaps a slight exaggeration).
All suggestions welcome!
