Carry on!
She ranted on: Wednesday, January 20, 2010 | Time: 10:22 PM
Dear Internets,

Underpants! I definately need underpants when I go away, but what else should I pack in my carry on bag? I'm going overseas for work for the very first time. That's more that 8 hours over which my carefully constructed facade of chic stylish-ness and poor vocabulary will undoubtedly slowly deteriorate. Any magic tips for my carry on bag that can keep me looking somewhat sane?

I also need some deets! Two free days in Kuala Lumpur...what should I do, where should I go, and what should I buy? I've never been before so I'm a little excited. Promise to get you a little sumthin' sumthin' *wink*

---

Lastly, I tested out my tripod. No more nagging my little sister to take photos! I bought one of those gypsy head tie things. I wonder if I can pull it off without looking a little stupid.

Oh! Lucky you, I always take sweat pants and hoodie to change into as soon as I am on my flight, then you can change back at the end of the flight, Have a good trip x

I always pack one change of clothing in my carry on in case something happens to my checked bag, along with any valuables, documents, etc. And little travel sized containers of dry shampoo, face wash, under-eye cream, and moisturizer. Right before they turn the seat belt sign on to land, I usually run to the bathroom and primp for a few minutes.I instantly look and feel a little less jet lagged and a little brighter.

p.s love the headband, you look rad...

I usually go shopping when i'm in Kuala lumpur, the airconditioning makes for a great escape from the heat and humidity.

Have fun on your trip!
