Dear Internets,
I woke up this morning in horror, under the impression that I had gone overseas but couldn't find an opportunity to leave the hotel conference room. After minutes of asking myself "when did I become this person?" I realised I hadn't actually left the country yet, let alone my bed.
All systems are go! I have finally finished the painful packing stage and am convinced that I've forgotten something. Everyone's handy flight tips have certainly made it easier to figure out my hand luggage, I just hope my appearance can keep up after an 8 hour flight. Success or failure, I'll have my rad new suitcase. Isn't it lovely?
I suppose the proof is in the pudding. I'll post photos and you can scream in the realisation that only italians and bollywood dancers look good after long flights. A hard truth I learnt the hard way. Apart from the excitement of a trip away, does anyone actually enjoy the task of packing? How much do you charge?

I actually do rather enjoy packing. That's such a sad thing to say! But I do. There's something kind of therapeutic about planning each outfit, folding them neatly and squeezing them in.
That doesn't sound anything like the way I pack, now I think about it. I'm more of a 'chuck it all in and sit on the lid' kinda girl. Have a fun trip! :)

I hope you have a lovely time! Because I stay in an Oxford college during term time, I have to clear out all of my stuff at the end of every term - annoying, but it means I'm a dab hand at packing! Thanks for the photo advice!

Haha! I actually LOVE packing!! There is so much excitement in it, possibility, adventure, finding ways to take only the essentials and then reflecting on what that means to me as a person ;) I HATE un-packing!! I always get so sad!! Good luck on your trip, I LOVE your suitcase!!!
I'm packing right now for my trip. I tend to always do it 5 hours before I leave, but it always seems to turn out OK :)
